ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION
Accounts & subscriptions
For account details, configuration updates, and moving to a new device, start by checking the latest information in your user panel.
Do I need an email address to get started? How should I protect my account details?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, then save both securely. Use the user panel to view your plan, subscription, and client downloads. Choose a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager. Before sharing screenshots, hide your account details and subscription link. Make sure you can still log in before changing browsers or clearing local data. Since an email address is not required for an account, don’t rely on email recovery as your only way to regain access. If you have trouble accessing your account, keep your order details for verification and contact support through a ticket in the user panel.
How do I update my subscription link, and when should I import it again?
Sign in to the user panel and copy the current link from the subscription section. Then open subscription management in your client, find the existing profile, and update it. In most cases, update the existing profile rather than repeatedly adding the same subscription, so you know which route list is in use. If the panel has replaced the link or the existing profile keeps failing to fetch, import the current link again and check that the right profile is selected in the client. After updating, make sure the route list and rules appear correctly. Your subscription link is private account information: don’t post it publicly or enter it into an unfamiliar online conversion tool.
Do I need a new plan when I switch devices? How do I check my data usage?
VPN65 allows unlimited simultaneous devices, so switching devices alone doesn’t mean you need a new plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, download a compatible client, and import your subscription. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported. With multiple devices, keep an eye on your plan and data balance; unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. Check usage in the user panel, as the client’s local figures are only a guide. Before passing an old device to someone else, remove saved subscription profiles and account details to prevent continued access.
Where can I download the client? How is the iOS download option different?
Download clients from the downloads section of the user panel. You must also sign in to view your subscription. Don’t start with an installer from an unfamiliar search result. Sign in to download clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux. For iOS, the panel shows available options based on your active plan; follow the instructions displayed for your account. After installation, import your current subscription, allow the system to add the connection profile, then choose a route and test the website you want to reach. If other networking tools are installed, check whether they’re also managing the connection. For detailed steps, see our guides, and follow the prompts on your current screen rather than relying on screenshots from an older device.
CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS
Connections & troubleshooting
Narrow down whether the issue is with your local network, subscription settings, or the app before changing multiple settings at once.
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check?
“Connected” usually means the client has started a connection; it doesn’t confirm that a website is reachable. Disconnect first and make sure your device’s regular network can open common websites. Then check your plan and data balance in the user panel, update the subscription, and reconnect. Try another route, testing both a browser and the affected app to see whether all sites fail or only one service. Change one setting at a time and note the result; changing the network, rules, and protocol all at once makes it harder to find the cause. If the problem continues, copy the client’s error message and describe the steps you’ve already tried in a support ticket.
Why does my browser work through the proxy when a specific app doesn’t?
Apps can use different network paths, so a working browser connection doesn’t mean every app is using the proxy. Check whether the client’s system proxy or connection mode is enabled, then see whether the app uses its own proxy, bypasses the system proxy, or is set to connect directly by a rule. Temporarily change the routing mode to compare results, then restore the rules that suit your regular use. Fully quit and reopen the app after making changes so it doesn’t keep using an old connection. Work-managed devices may have additional network policies; follow your organization’s requirements and don’t disable security settings without authorization.
What should I do if subscription import fails or the route list is empty?
Check that you copied the full link without extra spaces, line breaks, or explanatory text. Make sure you selected subscription import in the client, not single-route import. Then sign in to the user panel to get the current link, check your account status, and try updating on a working network. If the content downloads but won’t parse, check whether the client supports the subscription format. Renaming a link doesn’t convert its format. If it still fails, note the error and client name, then describe the import method in a support ticket. Screenshots should show only the relevant error; don’t reveal your full subscription link or password.
What if the connection drops, won’t recover after a network change, or conflicts with another system configuration?
Switching networks changes the connection environment, and the client may retain its previous connection state. Disconnect in the client, confirm the current network can open websites on its own, then select a route and reconnect. If the system says another connection profile is already in use, check whether another networking tool is running and follow the system prompt to keep the configuration you need. Don’t delete profiles in bulk before saving your subscription details, or make a series of changes to system network settings. If the issue occurs only on one network, compare it with another available network and include the network, steps that triggered the issue, and error message in your support ticket.
SPEED / ROUTE SELECTION
Speed & routes
Compare results using the task you actually need to complete. Evaluate latency, transfer performance, and service availability separately.
Why is my connection slow at peak times? How can I tell if it’s my network or the route?
Peak-time slowdowns can come from your local Wi-Fi, your internet provider’s routing, route congestion, or load on the service you’re accessing. A single page load isn’t enough to identify the cause. Pause background downloads and syncing, compare common websites with the VPN disconnected, then try different routes on the same network and with the same destination. If every route is slow, check your local network first. If only one route performs poorly, switch to another and note when the issue occurred and which app was affected. A nearby location doesn’t necessarily mean a shorter network path; choose based on your results. To help troubleshoot, share what happened and your comparison results rather than changing every client setting.
Which regions are available, and how do I choose the right route?
VPN65 covers 120+ countries and 180+ routes. The options currently available to you are shown in the user panel and your active subscription. Start by checking which region the service you want to use requires. Then consider whether the connection stays stable, websites load normally, and the app can complete the task. For everyday browsing, start with a region that suits your needs and compare other locations if you run into problems. Route names don’t guarantee speed or service availability. Route types, protocols, and groups in the client depend on your current configuration. If you’re unsure which protocol to use, see our protocol reference and consider what your device supports.
Are access problems with ChatGPT or streaming services always caused by the VPN route?
Not necessarily. Access can also depend on your account region, exit location, browser state, and the service itself. First check whether regular websites load, then read the message on the affected page to distinguish a network timeout from an account check or region notice. To compare routes, choose a region that meets the service’s requirements and reconnect the app after switching. A working route doesn’t guarantee access to every title or account feature, and it doesn’t guarantee a particular video quality. If you contact support, say whether you’re using the website or app, what message you see, and which routes you’ve tried instead of simply saying it doesn’t work.
Why are video or download speeds slow when the client shows low latency?
Latency usually measures the round-trip time to a specific test destination. Video and downloads also depend on sustained throughput, packet loss, the destination server, and routing rules. A good test result doesn’t guarantee smooth content delivery. Compare the same app and content, and check whether playback starts and continues normally. Also check whether background syncing is using your network. If websites load but video buffers, check that video traffic matches the intended rule, then try another route. Results from different tools and test destinations aren’t directly comparable; whether your actual task works reliably is a more useful measure.
BILLING / REFUNDS
Billing & refunds
Check prices, data rules, and order history. Contact support through an account ticket about payments or refunds.
How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does the data reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose a data tier based on your actual usage; monthly plans aren’t unlimited. Check your remaining data and reset date in the user panel rather than assuming the reset happens at the start of a calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Review the change shown in the panel and your order details before confirming. If you’re unsure about your current billing status, check with support through a ticket before making changes to avoid duplicate orders.
What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan?
Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until the data is used and never expire. Monthly plans reset their data each month on the activation date. The main difference is how data is used and reset, so don’t compare price alone. If your usage varies, see whether a data package fits your needs; for regular use, compare the monthly plan data tiers. “Never expires” doesn’t mean you can keep using the service after the data is depleted. If your account has more than one plan, check the user panel for data deduction order, switching behavior, and which plan is active. If anything is unclear, confirm it through a support ticket rather than assuming plans stack or convert automatically.
Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan doesn’t update after I pay?
We accept Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Before paying, check the plan, amount, and order status in the user panel, then follow the payment instructions for that order. After paying, return to the panel to check your order and plan. If the status hasn’t changed yet, don’t create or pay for the same order again. Confirm that the payment succeeded and matches the correct account and order, then send the order details, payment record, and a description of the issue through a support ticket. Hide any unnecessary personal information in submitted proof. Payment status must be checked against the order; closing the payment page doesn’t confirm that your plan is active.
How long is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?
Monthly plans and data packages come with a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket, clearly state that you’re requesting a refund, and include the order details so we can match them to your account and payment. If you’re requesting a refund because of connection issues, you can describe what happened; you don’t have to complete troubleshooting before submitting your request. Watch for a reply to your ticket. If we need supporting documents, provide only what’s needed to verify the order. Never share your account password or full subscription link. Check the Terms of Service for eligibility; updates and outcomes will be provided in your ticket. Don’t assume a fixed processing time.
